Product Information:

Product Name: Lockheed F-22 Raptor - Hobby Master HA2802 (1:72) - Stealth Fighter

Product Description: F22 Lockheed Raptor - Stealth Fighter Jet
For those of you looking for the latest, in fighter technology, the new Hobby Master F-22 Raptor is for you.
This aircraft has some stealth technology but its performance is simply outstanding. It is able to engage multiple F-15s without breaking a sweat!
Designed to meet the USAF’s requirement for an advanced tactical fighter, the F-22 was first flown on September 29th, 1990.
This single-seat, twin-engine fighter features a standard internal 20mm cannon and weapon bays. Its advanced turbofans allow the aircraft to operate at supersonic speeds without the need for afterburning—a technology termed “supercruise.” The F-22’s shape and highly secret coatings and composite material construction give it stealth-like capabilities.
The USAF considers the F-22 a critical component of the strike force, and claims that the F-22 cannot be matched by any known or projected fighter aircraft. As seen at RIAT RAF Fairford 2010 The USAF developed a requirement for a new air superiority fighter to replace the F-15 Eagle. Two proposals were submitted with the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor being selected as the new Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF). The aircraft is constructed using 39% titanium, 24% composite material, 16% aluminum and 1% thermoplastic by weight.
All these components contribute to the F-22 being a light weight, extremely maneuverable, extremely fast aircraft that uses stealth technology. The F-22 is also capable of ground attack, electronic warfare and signals intelligence.
